Gracious Neighbor has one belief. We are here to be your safe and helpful Neighbor.
This means that we strive to do whatever a typical Neighbor would do to help you and your family. We work hard to be flexible with services to make sure you get what you need. We strive to give you peace of mind by being a fully insured and professional service and by assuring a clean background check for every Gracious Neighbor.

Services for Pets:
Gracious Neighbor has its roots in pet sitting. We are very dedicated to the furry family members and can provide a full spectrum of petsitting services in an effort to help your family. We can walk the dog, feed the dog and the cat, and clean up any accidents. We can scoop the litter, trim the claws, and brush your kitty.
We can even take the little guy to the vet, the groomer, or to doggie daycare. Please ask about overnights; depending on the needs of each pet, a Neighbor can stay at your place or your pet can come for a visit to a Neighbor’s home.
Neighbor Services:
Gracious Neighbor would like to help you or someone you care for. We do minor chores like lifting heavy bags of dog food and taking out the trash. If you need to be away, we can do a ‘stop in’ in your place. We can also stop by the store and make a delivery to you or a loved one.
Gracious Neighbor also will do the usual housesitting things like adjust the lighting in your house, check your windows, take care of your houseplants and bring in your mail. Home or away, Gracious Neighbor will help you with your garden and planters. We will even help you feed your songbirds!
Like any good neighbor, Gracious Neighbor will help you with the trash if you are out of town or at the game on garbage night. We can even save you a personal day because we can wait for a delivery or the cable guy.
Examples of creative services:
Gracious Neighbor will cater to pregnant and new moms. We will also get in and do a load of dishes while you’re at work. If you need it, we can even pick up the flowers and ice the champagne for a surprise celebration after work.
To get started:
Contact us about a week or so before you need your first service. We can talk over what you need and set up an introduction. One of our Neighbors will come to your house and get all of the specifics for what you need. During the introduction we will schedule your first visits. Once we have been introduced, you need only call to set up new services or alter scheduled services. We only ask that you normally give us more than 24 hours of notice.
